Im a firm believer that great whites are off the coast of Scotland. Your channel keepa the whole discussion sensible though. N for me, i reckon they're further out n never too close to shore. I know people always say "well why haven't they been sited?" n my best answer to that (for scotland) is because none of us are in the fuckin water cos it's too cold. 😂😂 So less likely to see them

i am not a specialist, but devoring all that videos of sharks, from guys who go nearly everyday with thrones to watch them, documentaries and more.....i just saw in first seconds it cannot be a great white, by shape and movement

Ive dived close to these same species up in scotland definatley a salmon shark

False alarm its not a great white i have 17 yrs experience of studying sharks its a salmon shark a close relative to the infamous great white

It’s clearly a juvenile thresher shark

My opinion is that it is a Thresher shark swimming around, im almost sure.

Our waters are getting warmer, our water levels are rising, feeding grounds for many animals at sea are in tatters, there are many reasons we SHALL start seeing more sharks in our waters around the UK this will be over and above the Baskings, Blues etc which have roamed our coast for a millenia, there are more appearances of large Tuna of our coats in the UK as well now a days, which in years gone by was a normal thing for us, as morbid as this sounds I am wondering when we may start seeing patterns in what is potentially an increase in shark and human contact which will lead to an inevitable increase in shark attacks.

When is relatively warm for the British coast & it tends to infesting the thresher sharks & bull sharks to bath in to the innocent swimmers.

Thresher was the first thing came to mind before you mentioned it.

The tail and head remind me very much of a sand tiger shark, the aquarium's favorite toothy friend. They range as far North as the Gulf of Maine in the US, so why not Bournemouth?

Looks like a Nurse Shark to me due to the tail and shape of back fins. I’ve seen them in French Polynesia. It’s just a guess
